Is the app free?
Yes — the free version is limited to 20 devices, 1 build, and 10 attachments. Premium unlocks unlimited inventory and future features like family sharing. Choose from monthly (99 CZK), yearly (790 CZK, 14 days free to try), or lifetime (1,990 CZK) subscriptions. v1.0 users have Premium for free forever.
What is Lifetime Premium?
A one-time purchase that unlocks Premium for as long as the app is available on the App Store. It supports Apple Family Sharing — your whole family gets access for one purchase. Details in our Terms of Use.
Does the app sync to the cloud?
Yes — the app uses iCloud (CloudKit) to sync data between your Apple devices signed in to the same Apple ID. Your data is accessible only to you; the developer has no access. You can disable sync in Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → GearLife.
How to share inventory with family?
Family sharing (CKShare) will be available in v1.2. The owner with Premium creates a shared household and invites family members via iMessage or email. Invited members don't need their own Premium.
How to back up data?
Data is continuously synced via iCloud and included in standard backups (iTunes/Finder, iCloud Backup). The app also includes an Export feature (JSON) for manual backup or transfer.
What devices are supported?
GearLife requires iPhone with iOS 18+, iPad with iPadOS 18+, or Mac with macOS 15 Sequoia+.
How to restore purchases?
Go to Settings → Subscription → Restore Purchases. Your subscription will automatically restore via your Apple ID after reinstall or on another device.
How to cancel subscription?
Go to iOS Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → GearLife → Cancel Subscription. Premium features remain available until the end of your paid period.
